The Learning Technology Centre at NKC Gravesend College is a dedicated space for study, independent learning, and digital support. It provides students with access to a wide range of resources to support their coursework and develop their digital skills. Students can use the space to: The Learning Technology Centre also offers a quiet space to study outside of lessons, with areas available for both focused work and informal learning between classes. The Lee Stafford Hair Salon at NKC Gravesend College is part of a nationally recognised academy, with only a small number of locations across the UK. It provides students with the opportunity to train using industry techniques developed by Lee Stafford. Students gain hands-on experience by delivering hairdressing and barbering services to the public, helping them build confidence and develop the skills needed for employment in the industry. The Gallery Restaurant is situated above the reception area at NKC Gravesend College. Easily accessible from our Lower Higham Road entrance, it offers an extensive range of dishes in contemporary surroundings. The table d’hôte menu ensures a wide choice of dishes (including vegetarian) together with an extensive wine menu to compliment the meal. The dishes are lovingly prepared by our trainee Chefs, under the supervision of our highly qualified Chef tutors. The National Maritime Training Centre (NMTC) at NKC Gravesend College provides specialist maritime education and practical training for individuals and employers across the industry. The centre delivers a wide range of MCA-approved STCW courses, including Sea Survival Techniques, Survival Craft and Rescue Boat Handling, First Aid, Firefighting, Personal Safety and Bridge Simulator training. Other specialist courses include Marine Engineering, Seamanship, Small Craft Safety and Navigation.
