Joining North Kent College in 2023 marked an exciting new chapter in my career after spending over 30 years in accountancy. My role as Employability and Supplementary Lecturer / Personal Tutor within the Motor Vehicle department is completely unique, giving me the chance to support around 180 students each week.
Following completion of an apprenticeship directly after leaving school, I qualified as an Electrical Engineer with an HNC in Electrical Building Services.
Cars and engineering have always been my main interest - the trips to Brands Hatch and the Goodwood Festival of Speed have forever been etched into my mind. From an early age, I knew I wanted to build a career in the Motorsport industry.
